Marketing and Sales Manager - The Medical Store - Monday - Friday; 8:00A-4:30P
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Position is responsible for managing the Marketing and Sales team to develop, implement and administer a Business Development and clinical sales plan with the goal of increasing the number of referrals to The Medical Store.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Develops a medical equipment marketing plan, in coordination with the community awareness plan, with measurable objectives.
Effectively markets assigned regions to drive sales to The Medical Store. Pursues new referral sources to include relationship/contract opportunities with managed care companies, hospitals, extended care facilities, other healthcare organizations and corporations.
Selects, supervises and evaluates the sales and marketing staff. Motivates the sales and marketing staff for optimum performance through team building and acts as a mentor and resource for the staff.
Performs quarterly evaluations of the sales and marketing plan and progress reports to the Vice Presiden of Operations. Assists with the development and implementation of short and long range goals for increasing The Medical Store awareness and understanding of services among healthcare professionals to include, but not limited to, physicians and office staff, discharge planners and other hospital staff, nursing home staff and payers.
Works with internal and external resources to foster positive relations on behalf of TMS with healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals and community groups.
Ensures the sales and marketing plan is maintained within budget and coordinates marketing efforts of all staff and volunteers. Utilizes computer support and data management tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
Coordinates the servicing of all referral sources to include coordinating inservices and other educational needs as needed and as defined by contractual agreements.
Evaluates internal and external concerns and responds to the concern in a timely manner.
Ensures that staff counseling and discipline is appropriate.
Ensures timeliness of performance appraisals and reviews for any employee needing improvement.
Adheres to and works toward attaining the mission, goals and values of the organization.

Experience in Managed Care preferred.
Experienced in designing/implementing sales and marketing plans and determining measurable objectives.
Ability to work with and relate well to others internal/external to the organization.

Operational Controller - The Medical Store - Fulltime
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
This person will provide effective and efficient financial control over the TMS accounts and insure the safeguarding of assets in accordance with Board approved policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles and practices, in order that the strategic and financial objectives of the organization are attained. Supervise the business activities of TMS and assist the VP Operations to manage personnel, investment in inventory, maintain regulatory compliance and control operating costs.
The TMS Controller is responsible for maintenance of established accounting systems; supervision of staff; reports to management; establishing procedures for effective asset management; preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements; maintaining records of regulatory compliance and operational reviews.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Supervises and oversees the Customer Service and other administrative staff; provides direction and training; and conducts performance evaluations.
Responsible for maintenance of established accounting systems, including general ledger, billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory/purchasing; monitors the systems to ensure accuracy of transactions, coding and authorizations and recommends necessary modifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
Three to five years experience in management accounting.
Supervisory experience including training and evaluation of Accounting staff in the areas of general ledger, billing, accounts payable and payroll.
Expertise with computer financial applications, including accounting systems, spreadsheets, and databases.

President for Spectrum Healthcare Foundation - M-F
Provides strong leadership to Foundation employees, donors and related parties.
Creates a Board of Trustees that will enhance the ability of the Foundation to raise funds. Ensures that each member of the Board is well-informed with respect to the Board’s responsibilities and Foundation activities.
